RAISING A GLASS OF JACK TO THE MAN ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Every year Jack Daniel's celebrates their founder's birthday. 

While there are many eccentric stories that surround the man, perhaps none is stranger than his birthday, which is unknown because his birth certificate perished in a fire. So instead of one celebratory day, Jack's birthday is celebrated for the whole month of September the world over.

With tradition and craft being integral to the brand (their whiskey has been made the same way since 1866 in their own hand made American White Oak barrels) we devised a print campaign made from the same wood as the barrels, using old sign writing techniques. The end result was a campaign with an authentic, artisanal look, centred around Jack’s life’s work and the weird stories that surrounded him.
